Katie Halla is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who completed her Master’s degree in Clinical Rehabilitation & Mental Health Counseling from the University of Pittsburgh.


Katie strives to create a warm, nonjudgmental, supportive environment for her clients. She recognizes that an individual’s experience is impacted by many factors, and she aims to use a holistic approach in supporting her clients throughout the therapeutic process. Katie believes in working collaboratively as a team with her clients. She utilizes a person-centered approach, focusing on helping clients discover and utilize their inner strengths to come to a place of self-discovery, self-compassion, and self-acceptance.


Katie has experience working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and identity challenges, interpersonal conflict and relationship difficulties, and addiction-related disorders. She has recently undergone extensive training to expand her experience in working with those in their pregnancy journey, entering the postpartum period, and/or experiencing perinatal mood and
anxiety disorders.


Katie integrates various treatment approaches to help her clients reach their personal goals, including mindfulness practices, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) techniques, strengths-based practices, solution-focused therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
