KATIE NAPPI, LGPC
Katie Nappi is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor who completed her Master’s degree in Clinical Rehabilitation & Mental Health Counseling from the University of Pittsburgh.
Throughout her training and clinical experiences, Katie has worked with individuals who have been diagnosed with anxiety, depression, and co-occurring substance use disorders. Her work focuses on helping clients explore coping skills, emotional regulation, conflict resolution, relationship challenges, and self-esteem in order to feel empowered to accomplish personal goals.
Katie believes in a holistic approach to therapy; therefore, she aims to explore different dimensions of an individual’s life and how various factors may be impacting one’s overall success with healing and recovery. She embraces a person-centered approach, focused on helping clients utilize their inner strengths to come to a place of self-discovery and acceptance.
Katie’s clinical background consists of providing counseling services that highlight evidence-based techniques from interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
