Adolescent DBT Support Group

About this Group

This is a support and DBT skill building group for adolescent high school girls and boys between the ages of 14 to 18. Topics and skills covered in group will include coping with symptoms of anxiety and depression, healthy communication skills, healthy relationships, managing conflict, and general psychoeducation. 

What is DBT?

DBT or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy is a cognitive behavioral treatment approach that emphasizes the development of four skills: mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance. 

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) has been shown to be an effective treatment for a number of issues including anxiety, depression, addiction, impulsivity, and relationship problems.

About the Group Facilitator

Group spots are limited and fill quickly; however, this is an ongoing group, so as long as there are available spots left, we will accept new group members.
