Jess Lastner, LCPC
Licensed Psychotherapist
Jess Lastner is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) who works with young adults, adults, and older adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, OCD, panic attacks, and emotional overwhelm. She also supports clients with relationship conflict, self-esteem concerns, stress, and life transitions. Her experience includes helping individuals explore cultural identity and LGBTQIA+ concerns, navigate the impact of infidelity and co-occurring disorders, and work through the lasting effects of childhood or sexual trauma. Jess believes a trusting therapeutic relationship creates space for healing and growth. She brings warmth, compassion, and authenticity to her work, creating a nonjudgmental environment where clients can feel heard, explore difficult experiences at their own pace, and reconnect with their strengths. Her approach is collaborative and tailored to each client’s needs, preferences, and goals. Jess draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Gestalt Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and person-centered, trauma-focused, neuroscience-informed, and insight-oriented approaches. She helps clients recognize patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and relationships, develop practical coping skills, and take manageable steps toward meaningful change. Jess earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Hood College. She views therapy as a partnership that supports greater self-understanding, emotional resilience, and a stronger sense of direction.
