Emily Williamson, LGPC
Licensed Psychotherapist
I believe meaningful change begins with feeling safe, understood, and genuinely supported. As a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC), I offer a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where adolescents and adults can explore difficult experiences, develop practical skills, and move toward healthier, more fulfilling lives. I work with individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and compulsive sexual behaviors or sex addiction. I understand how difficult it can be to break cycles involving shame, secrecy, betrayal, and disconnection. My goal is to help clients better understand these patterns, strengthen self-compassion, and create lasting change in their lives and relationships. My approach is person-centered and grounded in the belief that you already possess the capacity for growth. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and other evidence-based strategies tailored to your individual needs and goals. Healing is rarely a straight path, and you do not have to navigate it alone. Whether you are working through past wounds, coping with current stress, or hoping to build a more meaningful future, I would be honored to walk alongside you with patience, compassion, and respect.
