Abby Donnelly is a therapist intern and Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate student at St. Bonaventure University and will be graduating in May 2026. She has been working in the mental health field since 2020, supporting individuals across a range of settings including community-based programs and private practice. As a therapist intern, Abby has experience providing individual therapy to clients navigating anxiety, life transitions, depression, self-esteem concerns, and trauma-related challenges. Abby’s approach is relational, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that therapy should feel like a safe and affirming space to explore, grow, and reconnect with one’s sense of purpose. She integrates a variety of evidence-based modalities to meet each client’s unique needs, with a clinical style influenced by narrative therapy, parts work, somatic awareness, and solution-focused practices. Therapy with Abby often includes creative interventions that support clients in reconnecting with themselves and finding new ways to engage with their stories. She is trained in Trauma-Informed Care and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) through University Health and brings a compassionate, present-centered approach to her work. Abby is especially passionate about helping clients through times of transition, whether that’s entering adulthood, adjusting to life changes, or navigating stress in a fast-paced, digital world.

Rachel Carballo, MPH is a clinical intern at Life Change Therapy Now and a master’s-level student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at the University of the Cumberlands, where she is on track to graduate in May 2026. She brings over a decade of experience in health and human services, including direct clinical work in addiction counseling, maternal-child health, and community wellness. Since 2022, Rachel has worked as an addiction counselor in outpatient treatment settings, providing individual, group, family, and couples therapy. She has led psychoeducational groups, facilitated yoga sessions for clients, and developed community-based wellness initiatives including smoking cessation and Narcan training. Her clinical approach is primarily person-centered and evidence-based, blending compassion with structure to support clients in building insight, coping skills, and resilience. Rachel holds a Master of Public Health with a specialization in Maternal and Child Health from Syracuse University and SUNY Upstate Medical University, and a Bachelor’s in Psychology with a Public Health minor from SUNY Fredonia. Her background in public health enhances her holistic view of mental wellness and informs her sensitivity to the social and systemic factors that influence client wellbeing. She works with individuals, couples, and families navigating concerns such as addiction, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and relational conflict. Clients appreciate Rachel’s calm, non-judgmental presence and her ability to create a safe, collaborative space where healing and growth can occur. In addition to her clinical work, Rachel has experience in teaching childbirth education, community leadership, program development, and volunteer coordination. She is certified as an Alcohol and Drug Trainee in Maryland and brings exceptional organization, communication, and cultural humility to her clinical practice.
