JESS LASTNER, LCPC

Jess Lastner is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Hood College. Jess works with young adults, adults, and older adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, OCD, panic attacks, relationship conflict, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, stress, and emotional overwhelm. She also has experience supporting individuals facing cultural identity concerns, LGBTQIA+ issues, infidelity, co-occurring disorders, and the lasting impact of childhood or sexual trauma.
Jess believes healing begins within a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, compassion, and authenticity. She strives to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and empowered to explore difficult emotions, gain insight into patterns, and move toward meaningful change.
Her approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to each client’s individual needs and goals. Jess integrates person-centered, trauma-focused, neuroscience-informed, CBT, ACT, Gestalt, narrative, and insight-oriented approaches to help clients better understand themselves, strengthen coping skills, regulate emotions, and build resilience.
“The counseling experience can sometimes leave individuals feeling vulnerable as we confront things that are typically avoided. I am here to make you feel comfortable navigating these unexplored areas. As we work through these issues and the emotions that arise, we will work together to establish goals and discover coping skills that work specifically for you.”
