OUR THERAPEUTIC SERVICES
Individual psychotherapy consists of working with a therapist one-on-one. Whether you are dealing with depression, anxiety, sexual addiction, or are just going through a rough patch in your life, we work with you to develop a personalized recovery plan that will help you feel balanced so you can reach your full potential.
Whether you are in a new relationship or together with your partner for several years, you may be considering seeking counseling to help you get through the small bumps or even major hurdles in your relationship. In most cases, learning how to communicate effectively with ones partner is the key to a successful relationship. Life Change Therapy Now offers therapy aimed at helping couples understand their own communication styles as well as their partners, so that they can resolve obstacles in an effective yet loving way.
Group therapy is a form of psychotherapy which involves a therapist working with several individuals with similar treatment goals, in a safe and supportive environment. Benefits of group therapy include learning from the experiences of others in the group who have had more time and experience in their recovery process, and gaining a sense of belonging, acceptance, and support. Our groups may be ongoing or short-term (usually 6-12 weeks).
This program is for those motivated to work on their recovery from sexual addiction. Treatment begins with a specialized assessment process, treatment recommendations, and the development of a structured recovery plan. Our approach is geared to help clients maintain sobriety, resolve deeper rooted issues that lead to addiction or intimacy issues, acquire effective coping mechanisms, and rebuild and repair trust in with loved ones.
Intensives are specifically designed to provide intense short-term therapy to couples and individuals in crisis who wish to expedite the therapy process. The cause for the crisis in these cases usually involve recent discovery of infidelity, betrayals, or prolonged periods in relationships void of intimacy or connection.
When major life changes, traumas, betrayals, or ongoing stressors occur, family units may become unhealthy and unbalanced. These issues may cause families to live with chronic stress, tension, and conflict. If these major stressors are not resolved, they make living in the household incredibly difficult for everyone in the family. We work with families to find solutions to these issues by improving patterns of communications and teaching healthy coping skills.
Hypnotherapy is a form of psychotherapy that is used to create profound emotional and personal growth. It involves the therapist using skilled verbal communications to help affect changes in perceptions, feelings, and thought patterns. Clients are then able to change unhealthy thoughts, actions, and behaviors with more ease.
During clinical hypnotherapy sessions, our clients remain fully aware and in control of what is going on around them. They can, at any time, choose to end the session. Hypnotherapy is an excellent tool for phobias, traumas, low self-esteem, and ineffective behavioral patterns. Hypnotherapy is not an effective treatment for all patients.
