Tammy Green, LCPC
Licensed Psychotherapist
When trauma, anxiety, relationship stress, or difficult life experiences leave you feeling overwhelmed or stuck, therapy can provide a place to understand what is happening beneath the surface and begin moving forward. Tammy Green, LCPC, creates a warm, supportive environment where clients can feel heard without judgment while developing practical tools for meaningful change. Tammy works with adolescents and adults navigating trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship and family concerns, stress, low self-esteem, mood difficulties, and challenging life transitions. Her approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and individualized to each client rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all model. Tammy helps clients recognize patterns that may be keeping them stuck, better regulate overwhelming emotions, strengthen coping skills, and build greater confidence in themselves and their relationships. She integrates evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other approaches based on each client’s needs. For clients who would like faith incorporated into therapy, Tammy can also provide Christian-based counseling upon request. In addition to her work with clients, Tammy is a Maryland Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor and provides clinical supervision and mentorship to graduate/provisionally licensed therapists as they work toward independent licensure, as well as counseling interns completing their final year of graduate training. Her supervisory role reflects her commitment to strong clinical practice, ethical decision-making, professional development, and supporting the next generation of therapists.
