About the Group Facilitator

Michael is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a member of the National Board of Certified Counselors. Mike has worked with a wide range of clients including children, pre-teens, adolescents, adults, couples, families, LGBT and trauma victims. His philosophy centers on empowering clients to discover the most effective tools that lead to alleviation of symptoms and resolution of life challenges.

 

Mike is a certified cognitive processing therapist who received specialized training in Cognitive Processing Theory (CPT).

​

In addition to CPT, Mike incorporates the use of other evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectic behavioral therapy (DBT), solution focused therapy (SFT), and anger management in order to meet the needs of his clients.
